From e-books to FAQ pages and blog writing, I’ve included a cross-section of the projects I’ve completed to date.

____

wholeworkhq aims to provide invaluable resources and information for those looking to take control of their career, and enjoy a happier working life overall. I write a few articles a week around a variety of career-focused topics - my previous experience in HR serves me well here! Here are a few samples:

I was hired by My Garden Flowers to produce SEO blogs to inform their readership, and grow it too! To date, I’ve written over 70 solution focused blogs for the company, all of which are targeted at gardening experts. I’ve shared a couple of extracts from just a few of these blogs below.

Excerpt of ‘What Eats Pansy Flowers’ for mygardenflowers.

Excerpt of ‘What Eats Daffodils?’

I collaborated with Wasabi Knives to develop and execute the company content calendar. The blogs that I produced can be broadly categorised into those with a direct intention to sell the company’s products and (2) those intended to offer an interesting read and built trust and familiarity with the audience.

Below, I’ve shared screengrabs of both types of content.

I’ve written several thought pieces in the leadership/workplace realm. Many of these have gone on to be curated by renowned online publications. A few examples below!

5 Lessons in Leadership

Published in The Startup, an online publication with +8 million monthly readers.

Taking the Principles of Teamwork Beyond the Workplace.

Another thought-piece published in The Startup.

Keep Calm and Broaden Your Job Search

Published in The Post-Grad Survival Guide, an online publication with > 2,500 followers.

One of my very first copywriting projects! From the landing pages and headlines, through to the many product descriptions, FAQs, and terms and conditions, I was responsible for both determining and establishing the brand’s identity across the entire website in an effort to engage its target customers.

Here’s an excerpt from the FAQs:

And another, from the About page:

Weddings: Advice and Accounts by Women Around the World

A passion project of mine.

During the covid era, it dawned on me just how many people are alone. Alone in their homes, alone in their thoughts, etc. Thoughts spiralled, and somehow, I wound up thinking a lot about all the folk out there planning their weddings. The experience can be pretty tough and lonely, but learning, and even just hearing, from others is helpful. So, I interviewed women from around the world to discover how their journey to matrimony went, and put my findings in an e-book.

As you do…

Excerpts from the book below!

Last but not least, e-books! I’ve worked on many of them - all non-fiction (so far). I’ve written my own, and ghostwritten/edited for clients too.

Here are a few samples:

Marriage: The Public Perspective

Similar to the above project, since getting married, I’ve been curious about the experience of others. So I interviewed them and proceeded to edit and publish the findings for any equally inquisitive people out there.

Check out the introduction below!

Freelancer book series

I was hired edit a number of e-books on the topic of freelancing. Each book contains interviews with freelancers from all over the world, so the aim was to improve the readability and flow, without detracting from each contributor’s unique tone of voice and the heartfelt, very ‘human’ sentiment of the books (found here).

You know the drill…
